Web / Reseller Hosting Services — Acceptable Use Policy
  • I. Server Resources

    WebSound reserve the right to suspend or terminate any service abusing server resources. This includes, but is not limited to: CPU Usage, RAM Usage and I/O resources. It is at WebSounds discretion as to whether a service is abusing server resources.
  • II. Prohibited Content

    Services used by WebSound are to be used for lawful purposes only, WebSound strictly forbids the use of our services for anything which may be in breach of the law, this includes, but is not limited to:
    • Pirated/Cracked Software
    • Spam E-Mail sending
    • The discussion of hacking
    • The storage/use of tools intended for hacking purposes
    • The storage/use of tools used to disrupt/attack other networks or services
    • Content that may be in breach of Copyright Laws
    • The storage or use of child pornography is strictly prohibited
    WebSound reserve the right to take necessary action against service users who are in breach of the Law or any of the points outlined on this page.
  • III. Malicious Activity

    WebSound strictly prohibits the use of tools/services, or the promotion/discussion of services used to breach, or attack networks/services. WebSound reserve the right to take action (with or without warning) against the service(s) involved, this may include immediate suspension or termination. It is at WebSounds discretion as to what classes as Malicious Activity.
  • IV. Reseller Responsibility

    By being a reseller of our services, the reseller account holder is responsible for all of the sub-accounts created under the reseller account. The reseller account holder is responsible for ensuring that all sub-accounts are not in breach of our Terms of Service. WebSound reserve the right to suspend or terminate the whole reseller account if sub-accounts are in breach of any of the points outlined on this page.
  • V. Account Transfers

    WebSound offer a free, complimentary account transfer service. WebSound will transfer individual cPanel accounts free of charge. WebSound will only transfer accounts from other cPanel servers which have the ability to use the full backup feature. In addition, WebSound makes no guarantee as to how quickly accounts will be transferred, this is a complimentary service and therefore any other incidents that should arise will take priority.
  • VI. Free Domain Names

    WebSound offer a free domain name with selected Web/Reseller Hosting Packages. If the free domain name is claimed with a service and the client requests a refund within the first 14 days under our money back guarantee, WebSound will deduct the normal cost of the domain name off of the refunded amount.

  • I. Server Resources

    WebSound reserve the right to suspend or terminate any service abusing server resources. This includes, but is not limited to: CPU Usage, RAM Usage and Disk Usage. It is at WebSounds discretion as to whether a service is abusing resources.
  • II. Disk Usage

    All servers are entitled to Unmetered Disk Space. Disk Space is for the pure use of files essential to the server. Any service found to be using Disk Space for other means may face suspension. WebSound reserve the right to remove unnecessary files without warning, it is at WebSounds sole discretion as to what is an unnecessary file. In addition, WebSound reserve the right to remove particular files or directories if they are excessively large in size. The use of Dynmap on our services is strictly prohibited.
  • III. Minecraft - End User License Agreement

    By utilizing our Minecraft Hosting services, you agree to adhere to the Minecraft EULA (End User License Agreement) at all times. You agree that our system will automatically set your service to have agreed to the EULA; WebSound will accept no responsibility for any consequences which may arise as a result of clients not adhering to the EULA.
VPS Servers — Acceptable Use Policy
  • I. Server Resources

    WebSound reserve the right to suspend or terminate any service abusing server resources. This includes, but is not limited to: CPU Usage, I/O resources and Bandwidth speed. It is at WebSounds discretion as to whether a service is abusing server resources.
  • II. CPU Usage

    In order to allow fair usage to all of our clients, we request clients do not use more than 50% of their allocated CPU Cores for any extensive periods of time. Clients who utilize full CPU Cores which negatively impacts performance on the host node may be requested to reduce their usage; WebSound also reserves the right to implement further limitations, stop/restart the VPS or suspend the VPS completely, for more serious offenses.
  • III. Prohibited Content

    Services used by WebSound are to be used for lawful purposes only, WebSound strictly forbids the use of our services for anything which may be in breach of the law, this includes, but is not limited to:
    • Pirated/Cracked Software
    • The sending of spam/unsolicited emails
    • The discussion of hacking tools/services
    • The storage/use of tools intended for hacking purposes
    • The storage/use of tools used to disrupt/attack networks or services
    • Content that may be in breach of Copyright Laws
    • The storage or use of child pornography
    • TOR or applications which are similar are forbidden from use
    • The use/running of Mining applications is forbidden
    • The use of services which excessively use resources which may result in the disruption of our/other services
    WebSound reserve the right to take necessary action against service users who are in breach of the Law or any of the points outlined on this page.
